Recipe for pickling tomatoes in Polish for the winter

Most of the owners of summer cottages are engaged in growing tomatoes. Some of them want to eat tomatoes not only in summer but also in winter. For this, pickled tomatoes are closed. There are many different ways to preserve these vegetables. Many people make adjika, ketchup or tomato juice from them.

However, the most popular twist recipe is Polish canned tomatoes. It is quite difficult to make such preservation on your own if there is no experience of twisting tomatoes. Therefore, it is recommended to familiarize yourself in advance with the features of the twist of the snack and choose the simplest recipe for its preparation.

Classic recipe

The classic recipe for tomatoes in Polish for the winter is one of the most common. It is it that many housewives use to create preserves. To pickle vegetables you need the following ingredients:

  • a kilogram of tomatoes;
  • one onion;
  • two peppers;
  • head of garlic;
  • 200 ml of oil;
  • greenery;
  • 150 ml vinegar.

The following components are used to create the marinade:

  • litere of water;
  • 100 g sugar;
  • 50 g of salt.

Before you start preparing a snack, you need to spend a little time preparing the container. Each jar is thoroughly washed with a soda solution and rinsed with clean cold water. Then they should be wiped off with a towel.

Having prepared the container for twisting, you can proceed to the main ingredients.

First you need to rinse the dill well, shake it and chop it. After that, the garlic is chopped and mixed with the chopped herbs. Then you need to start preparing the tomatoes. Dirt is removed on each tomato, it is cut into several pieces, after which they are mixed with the rest of the ingredients and laid out on the bottom of the container.

After finishing with tomatoes, you can start onions. Before putting it in jars, you need to peel it and cut it into rings. Then everything is sprinkled with dill and mixed thoroughly.

When all the ingredients are distributed in the seaming containers, you need to take care of the marinade. To prepare it, several liters of water and a little salt and sugar are added to the pan. The marinade is brought to a boil and poured into a container. After that, add vegetable oil with vinegar.

Before twisting, all cans with conservation must be sterilized. To do this, they are placed in a large pot of water and boiled in it for about 20 minutes. The water in the pot should be three-quarters of the way over the jars.

After sterilization, take out the preservation from the container, preserve and turn over. The next day, the twist can be moved to the basement for storage.

Without sterilization

This recipe is often used by people who do not want to waste time sterilizing containers.To prepare such preservation, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 500 g of tomatoes;
  • bulb;
  • two heads of garlic;
  • parsley;
  • 150 ml of oil;
  • 100 ml vinegar;
  • bay leaf;
  • 70 g salt;
  • 100 g of sugar.

First you need to start preparing greens and vegetables. All tomatoes are washed, separated from the stalk and cut into four equal parts. The onion is cut into small half rings, the parsley is chopped with a knife. Then the cut ingredients are stacked in jars in layers, which can be alternated in different order.

After placing all the ingredients in the jars, you can start cooking the marinade. To create it, a little salt and sugar are added to a pot of water. All this is boiled on a gas stove for 10 minutes and added to vegetables.

It is not recommended to fill containers with marinade up to the very neck, as the tomatoes may rise and the liquid will begin to flow out.

The container is rolled up with lids and transferred to the cellar.
