Peanuts are a healthy nut that tastes good. It is consumed raw, added to baked goods and other dishes. But this product contains a lot of moisture and oil, therefore, without proper processing, peanuts begin to rot. How to dry peanuts in the oven?

Drying in the oven is the easiest and at the same time longest way. Depending on how dry the raw materials are, it may take half an hour or even an hour. You need to dry on a baking sheet that is not smeared with anything, but you can put baking paper.


Drying peanuts at home is as follows:

  1. First, the oven heats up to 175-180 ° C (this will take about 15 minutes).
  2. Spread the beans on a baking sheet in a thin layer, even better if they don't touch each other. For this reason, process large volumes in several passes.
  3. After another 15 minutes, stir and raise the temperature to 200 ° C.
  4. At the last stage, wait until the nuts begin to crackle - this will mean that they are ready. At the same time, do not leave the kitchen, otherwise you may miss the moment, and the nuts will burn. Turn off the oven, wait 10-15 minutes and remove.

Compared to an oven, a microwave dries up almost instantly. To do this, you need a flat plate:

  2. Place the plate in the microwave, cook for 1 minute. The required power is 800 watts.
  3. Mix thoroughly.
  4. With the same power, set the timer for 20 seconds, so 4-6 times. After the fourth time, taste the peanuts before setting the timer again to determine the degree of roast.

In the microwave, you cannot dry peanuts in their shells, but the husks can be left. Also, do not process more than 200 grams of beans at a time.

Airfryer

Drying with an airfryer is the second fastest after a multicooker. There are two ways to cook:

  1. At 225 ° C, the ventilation rate is high. Dry the peanuts for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Drying on a high wire rack and wrapping it in foil will take only 5 minutes at 180 ° C.

The advantage of the airfryer is high-quality drying and convenience. But there is a risk of overdrying the nuts, so adjust the temperature carefully.
